Data Collected
TopDuels collects the information needed to run accounts and community ranking features.
- Account data such as username, email, password hash, session identifiers, avatar, bio, language, and profile settings.
- Profile data such as public display name, profile color, links, favorite categories, and visibility preferences.
- Technical data such as device/browser signals, IP-derived security signals, timestamps, rate-limit events, and error context.
Activity Data
We process lists, items, votes, likes, comments, reports, friends/follows, finish-later progress, game history, quest progress, settings, and admin moderation events to make the product work.
AI And Creation Data
When you use Lya, prompts, generated drafts, selected fields, item text, image-search queries, and diagnostic information may be processed to create the requested list and improve reliability. Do not submit secrets or sensitive personal data in prompts.
How Data Is Used
- Provide account login, profiles, lists, votes, games, comments, quests, and settings.
- Personalize discovery, search, finish-later, friends, subscriptions, and creator surfaces.
- Prevent abuse, spam, duplicate manipulation, security attacks, and rate-limit abuse.
- Debug errors, measure product health, improve SEO pages, and operate admin tools.
Sharing
Public profile and list content can be visible to other users and search engines. We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with infrastructure, hosting, analytics, AI, email, or security providers only as needed to operate TopDuels, or when required by law.
Retention
Account and activity data is kept while your account is active or as needed for safety, legal, backup, and operational reasons. Deleted or hidden content may remain in backups or logs for a limited period before removal.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures such as session controls, server-side checks, owner-only admin gates, rate limits, and restricted secret handling. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your Choices
- Update profile details, visibility, notification preferences, display settings, and local preferences in Settings.
- Use private or unlisted visibility where available.
- Request account deletion or privacy help by contacting us.
- Clear local browser preferences through Settings or your browser controls.
Children
TopDuels is not intended for children under the age required by local law to use online community services without parental consent.
