Commitment
TopDuels aims to make ranking lists, games, profiles, settings, and discussions usable for as many people as possible. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing product requirement, not a one-time checklist.
Keyboard Navigation
- Core navigation, buttons, links, tabs, dropdowns, dialogs, and form controls should be reachable by keyboard.
- Interactive cards expose link or button behavior where possible.
- Focus states should remain visible in both light and dark mode.
Visual Design
The interface supports light and dark mode, clear contrast targets, readable text, consistent borders, visible controls, and reduced visual clutter. Dark mode is the default for new users.
Responsive Layout
Pages are designed to adapt from mobile to desktop. Cards, profile panels, discussions, settings, and rails should avoid overlapping content and should keep text readable across viewport sizes.
Forms And Feedback
- Inputs include labels or contextual placeholders.
- Important actions such as delete, cancel, or publish confirmations should be explicit.
- Errors and locked states should explain what action is needed when possible.
Motion And Animation
Users can reduce motion through preferences where supported. Hero animations, rail interactions, stage dots, and transitions should remain usable when motion is reduced.
Known Limits
Community-provided images, external links, generated content, third-party resources, and older pages may not always include complete accessibility metadata. Some visual game experiences may still require additional alternatives.
Continuous Improvement
We test key pages for readability, dark mode, mobile layout, keyboard interaction, and visible controls, and we prioritize fixes that block navigation, account access, creation, or discussion.
Feedback
Accessibility feedback can be sent to contact@shoversus.com. Include the page URL, device/browser, assistive technology if relevant, and what you expected to happen.
